Joint Injections Steroid and local anesthetic can be injected to the shoulder,hip elbow or knee joints for arthritis, or in the bursa to treat bursitis
Viscosupplementation: These products (Synvisc, Hyalgan, Euflexa, etc) are injected to help decrease pain and swelling in the knee or hip. It can be done as a single injection or smaller doses with multiple weekly injections.
Epicondylitis: Tennis and golf elbow as they are commonly known can be injected to decrease pain and increase function. Physical therapy and g rip modification can also help
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: Symptoms include tingling into the first three digits is very common. Injections are used when braces fail, and for those who do not want to get surgery.
Botox Injections: These are done for non cosmetic purposes. These can be done for decreasing spasticity after a stroke, for torticollis (when the neck muscles are unbalanced), or for some cervical muscle pain. These are performed with EMG diagnoses
Steroid Injections: Injections
These tests are performed to diagnose nerve conditions such as radiculopathy, neuropathy, and myopathy. Usually patients have numbness or tingless in a limb, or significant weakness in a muscle.

Local anesthetic is injected into the trigger point to try to inactivate the trigger point. Dry needling can also be done to break up knots
1. Spasticity caused by a stroke or brain injury can be treated to improve gait, improve fit into a brace, improve ability for caregiver to dress/clean a patient.
2. Torticollis: Can be congenital or an acquired deformity. The toxin can help weaken the shortened and tight muscles.
3. Headache/Neck Pain: In select cases, tight neck muscles can cause cervicogenic headache. Sometimes prior neck surgery is the cause. Injections in tight muscles can help loosen the muscle and decrease the frequency of headaches and pain
